T M R Bangsa Jayah
Joint Managing Director of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of Colombo Dockyard PLC. He has over 15 years experience in the construction industry as a principal partner in a renowned piling company.
Mr. Jayah is a retired commissioned Police Officer, with over 29 years of service. During his career with the Police Department, he has worked as the Chief Security Officer for the Deputy Speaker and North-East Governor. He has completed his First-in-Laws at the Law Faculty, Colombo.
Dulindra Fernando CFA
Mr. Fernando CFA, has been the Managing Director at Ceylon Asset Management Co. Ltd. since January 2009 and also the founder of the firm. Prior to CAM, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at MAS Investments from 2005 to 2008 and the General Manager of Corporate Finance at MAS Holdings from 2001 to 2004. He was an Assistant Vice President of Capital Markets at Vanik Incorporation till 2000. Mr. Fernando has also served as a Senior Manager of Taxation and Business Services at a Chartered Accounting firm in Australia from 1989 to 1992. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Monash University in 1989. Mr. Fernando is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Sev Vettivetpillai is a Partner at The Abraaj Group and Global Head of Thematic Fund Businesses. He is one of four permanent members of the Investment Committee responsible for approval of all Abraaj investments across the platform. He is also the Chairman of the Abraaj Partners Council and a Member of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Vettivetpillai has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of strategic investment management, fundraising, deal structuring, valuation, due diligence and portfolio management. He was the Founder of the Aureos Group, where he held the positions of both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer.
Mr. Vettivetpillai is a CFA Charter holder and completed a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, UK.
Rainer Michael Preiss
Mr. Rainer Michael Preiss, CWM is an Economic Advisor and Director of Ceylon Asset Management Co. Ltd. Mr. Preiss has experience in Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He has been a guest commentator on International Business TV and various newspaper columns.
Mr. Preiss has served as a Guest Lecturer for the Graduate School of The People’s Bank of China. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager. Mr. Preiss majored in Finance and International Economics at the European Business School.
Dr. Fernando is a blue ocean strategist with a sustainability mind set. He is an Alumni of the University of Cambridge, completed Post Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business in 2008 and a Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership in 2014. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration Degree from the European University in Geneva 2016. He also holds an MBA from the University of Colombo and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
He was the United Nations Global Compact Focal point for Sri Lanka 2003-2010 and was the founder of the UN Global Compact Sri Lanka network in 2010. He is Chairman/CEO of Global Strategic Corporate Sustainability Pvt. Ltd which operates in Vietnam, Sri Lanka and China.
His career with Multi-nationals spanned from Unilever to Smithkline Beecham International. He was the first CEO of SLINTEC.
