We are also the pioneering fund manager to adopt CFA Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) in Sri Lanka in 2012 to comply with international performance reporting.
Mr. Ranasinghe is the Deputy General Manager-Investment at Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation since 2018. Prior to SLIC he has served as The Head of Treasury at Cargils Bank Ltd from 2013 to 2018. He was a Manager of Treasury at Aitken Spence PLC till 2013. Mr. Ranasinghe is a Charted Financial Analyst and completed BSc (Hons) Engineering.
Mr. Fernando CFA, has been the Managing Director at Ceylon Asset Management Co. Ltd. since January 2009 and is also the founder of the firm. Prior to CAM, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at MAS Investments from 2005 to 2008 and the General Manager of Corporate Finance at MAS Holdings from 2001 to 2004. He was an Assistant Vice President of Capital Markets at Vanik Incorporation till 2000. Mr. Fernando has also served as a Senior Manager of Taxation and Business Services at a Chartered Accounting firm in Australia from 1989 to 1992. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Monash University in 1989. Mr. Fernando is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

With a MA in Economics & Management from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, Manjula established CeyQuartz MBI (Pvt) Ltd, a JV for the processing and export of Silica Quartz for the Semiconductor Filler market in 1996. She has remained in the Manufacturing/Export Sector for the last 27 years and in 2021 invested in a forward-integration to manufacture and export of Quartz Surfaces under the brand Crystalstone, fulfilling a long-held goal of exporting a finished-product with Sri Lankan minerals. She is currently Managing Director of both privately owned companies.
